A Bold New Direction.
It was more than a website redesign for the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University: Across 30 offices and programs, and more than 3,000 web pages, we reimagined how to present information with market research, content strategy, editorial and design standards, and user training in addition to budget management and vendor selection.
What I did:
Strategy | Website Production | Writing | Design | Digital Marketing | SEO
The Approach
-
Mobile First
Our top priority was to optimize content, navigation and calls to action for smartphones.
-
Working Smarter
We removed duplicate pages, reduced unnecessary maintenance and streamlined editing.
-
Modernizing Data
Manually updated content was replaced with database-driven features and interactive tools.
-
Search Traffic
Page structure, URLs, title tags and other content were updated sitewide to improve SEO.
The Results
Fisher’s redesign launched in fall 2016, pairing a modernized look, feel and experience with a revamped content management system behind the scenes, as well as updated editorial and design standards for website managers.
